This is a wonderful toy to go along with all the kitchen stuff little girls (and boys) like to play with. It is entertaining for parents as well. I just wish we could manufacture great toys like this in the United States. Where have all the toymakers gone.
This set is adorable. High quality wood pieces. My 3 yr. old loves it. The box that it comes in is actually the 'storage' box for it, also made of wood, so you have a place to put all the pieces. I just wish it had a lid to it.
It also picks up hair and lint and makes it look yucky to play with. This product would be better if it didn't have the velcro holding all the pieces together. It sticks on their clothes while playing and makes little snags, etc. My kids really don't play with this set much. You'd be better off with felt food - I am making my own.
I personally wasn't sure about this when I received it - but my granddaughter loves it - onl problem is the velco doesn't stick on all products
My 4 year old and 2 year old love playing kitchen and this sandwich making set is right up there ally. They enjoy creating different sandwiches for us for supper. It is too bad that there are only a few veggie choices and that the meat and cheese options are limited also. Putting that aside, they really enjoy cooking and playing with this toy and will spend hours "in the kitchen" playing.
